Hemingway – Pfeiffer Museum And Educational Center - Piggott, AR
Olympus Construction partnered with Arkansas State University in the restoration of the family home of Paul and Mary Pfeiffer, whose daughter Pauline was the second wife of Ernest Hemingway.
The home and the barn located on the grounds were named to the National Register in 1982. The museum focuses on the historical significance of being the site where Hemingway created portions of A FAREWELL TO ARMS and several short stories, as well as contributing to the understanding of the culture and history of the 1920's and 1930's era in Northeast Arkansas.
Olympus is proud to have been a part of this endeavor. We feel that this is a trust for the people of Arkansas now and for future generations.
